We don't even know what to say... we're absolutely speechless!

"We had no idea any pictures could capture our emotions, our joy, our love, our laughs and the bond between friends as you did.

We are so beyond ecstatic with every single photo, there is no other way we'd of wanted our day to be portrayed"

your questions answered

  • Help! We're not very good in front of the camera!

This is VERY common! A lot of couples feel awkward about having their photos taken.

My aim is to make you feel relaxed on your wedding day and we do a lot of walking and talkin' photos first so you can both chill and chat while I stand from a distance photographing.

I also suggest you book a pre-wedding shoot so you know what to expect when it comes to your wedding.

As one bride said after her pre-wedding session: 'Thank you for a lovely day today. It’s definitely made us feel more confident about the wedding, as we did feel a bit nervous'.

  • How long will we have to pose for?

On your wedding day, you run the show when it comes to the couple photos and group photos.

As I have said before, I like to be seen as a friend on your wedding day, so when my couples are ready to get back to the dancing, they are not afraid to let me know.

Usually couple photos are 5 mins here and there, not me taking you away from your day for 45 minutes at a time.

  • How much is the deposit to secure our date?

There is a fixed booking fee of £500. Once this is paid and contract is signed, your date will be officially added into my diary!

Final payment is due at least four weeks before your big day.

  • How much can we expect to spend?

I will be able to give you a personalised proposal from your requirements when we organise a chat :)

Shorter coverage / elopements will be quoted this same way.

  • Do you travel?

Yes! I am always happy to travel further afield. Being on the road and seeing new places is one of my fave things to do!

  • How long after my wedding until I see the photos?

My aim is to have your photographs for you to view within four to six weeks after your wedding.

  • How much time do you need to do formals?

15 minutes – half an hour is a good time to get the formals done. It can take up to 2 minutes to organise each group photo and so I usually suggest no more than 15 formal group photos.

  • Do you have a second shooter or assistant?

I work alone, although for bigger weddings I would recommend a second shooter to get another perspective on the day so no guest action is missed!

I would also recommend a second shooter if you would like both of you to have preparation photos.

If you require a second shooter this can be arranged at a fee from £250.

  • Do you offer video?

    Personally, I only offer photography.

I sometimes take little video clips at weddings but I do not offer this as a paid service.

HOWEVER! I am always open to recommending videographaphers who I work well alongside and who are trusted within the industry.

I am very easy to get along with so whoever you choose to video your wedding I will make friends with so we can both work well alongside each other during your day!

  • What happens if you are unable to attend due to illness?

In the very unlikely event of not being able to personally attend I am in multiple professional photography groups online and have local contacts I can ask.

  • Do you have backup equipment?

I bring along more than I need for each wedding, from more than one camera to lots of lenses, multiple memory cards and extra batteries.

  • Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. Insurance is a must for all wedding photographers!

  • What is your favourite part of being a wedding photographer?

The people! People are definitely what make wedding days <3 I love photographing the connection between you both and your guests.
