Renowned for my creative art style and laid back approach, I’ve been capturing couples and candid newborn moments for the past six years. I always knew I wanted my own business and although I had studied photography, it was only when I photographed my sisters wedding years later that it all clicked into place.
I’m adventurous yet easy going, someone who loves home and the feeling of family but exists in a permanent state of wanderlust. I’m about to get a tattoo that says “Fernweh” which is German for farsickness. I basically always long to be somewhere new. Why German? No reason whatsoever. Sometimes I can be that random.
I would describe myself as Goth meets Glam meets Girl Next Door. I love to wear black, attend rock gigs and love the occasional gothic or alternative themed wedding (Goth Girl). But I love nothing more than donning a tiara, big gold hooped earrings, fluffy lampshades and painting things pink (Glam Girl) and lastly, as most of my couples would describe me – I’m relaxed, friendly and down to earth, practical (always turning up with a pin in my hair ready to help button up the dress) and personal, taking incredible images in an informal way (Girl Next Door).
The final thing to know about me? I’m music mad. If photography is my passion then music is a close second. I think being immersed in the music is like being in love – whether that’s the rapture of a relationship or the all-encompassing chaos and emotion of motherhood. You’re in the moment, intoxicated, infatuated, hair down, living for the rhythm. That’s the rhythm of romance.
If you're worrying about having your photos taken, worry no more because my aim is to put you at ease throughout. I aim to be a friend first, not just 'the photographer' - wouldnt you feel more relaxed if it was a friend photographing you?
I promise not to take cheesy photos of you like the photos of me at the top of this page (although I do love my hair colour on these pics so I'm not ready to take them down just yet....).
